The Gippsland Pride Initiative Inc. is committed to increasing access and opportunity to participate fully in our events. Be on the look out for important emails from our team
If you've purchased a table or group of tickets, please read this information from all guests to reply to our email at your earliest opportunity!
All the things you need to know:
This is an AUSLAN-supported event. To ensure we provide you with the best positioning to the Interpreters, please advise if this will benefit you.
There is provisioned parking in close proximity to the entrance, and the event venue is singular level, with ease of access to your table. We ask attendees to leave these designated parking spaces to those that need them. There is plenty of parking space for everyone, and buses drop you off right out front
Please note you must park outside the gates if you are leaving your car overnight as the venue is not accessible on Sunday.
Gender-neutral disabled toilets are available within 10 metres of the event room doors, in the foyer of the building and will be clearly marked.
We will have both Mental Health and General First Aid accredited team members discreetly available if you need them. They will be wearing ID and welcome your direct approach throughout the night at any time.
Β Chill Space
Outside of the doors, we will have a marquee space for rest and recharging away from the lights, noise and people. There will be free Tea and Coffee available in the foyer, and the famous Thorne Harbour Health bean bags to relax in if you need a breather.
There are also outdoor areas undercover if you wish to step outside. But be prepared, it will be chilly out there!
Β If you have requirements or would benefit from being positioned away from / or closer to speakers, screens, lights etc. Please let us know and we will do everything we can to locate your seat most appropriately in our table plan.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
All dietary requirements MUST be advised prior to the event for us to accommodate you. Please confirm/specify allergens and dietary requirements when these are clarified by email as we may otherwise not be able to assist you at the event.
*Drinks are available at Bar Prices, and Responsible Service of Alcohol standards adhered to.
COVID SAFETY
You are welcome to wear a mask if you wish and they are available at the event. Please help us keep everyone sage and do not attend if you are symptomatic or testing positive. We will refund your ticket where possible.
Sanitiser will be available throughout the venue, as well as disposable masks.
LOVE ONLY ZONE
It might be obvious but should be said for the avoidance of all doubt. This space is hate free, a space for love and inclusion only. Anything else will not be accepted. We are each responsible for our own behaviour, and the safety of self and others. Any actions causing risk, harm or distress, may result in your departure.
SECURITY
Our event is a secure site and has access throughout the evening, you will need to present a ticket to come in to Lardner Park and the event venue.
Tickets will be checked on entry, and the site will be monitored by our dedicated security team prior to, during and up to the conclusion of our event.
Buses are running from across Gippsland and important updates with times and pick up locations will be shared this week. Please ensure you register to secure your seat as this is strictly limited.
